ISA Yachts created the 164-foot (50-meter) superyacht Papi du Papi for a South American couple last year, but only now is the company revealing some images and details of the contemporary masterpiece.
Papi du Papi’s cozy yet sophisticated interior comes from Francesco Paszkowski and features Brazilian rosewood and oak walls, floors, and furniture, along with other materials chosen to create a soothing ambience—Jerusalem stone, travertine, leather, and a cotton/wool-blend fabric for the stateroom ceilings.
Beyond the beautiful decor, guests will find an impressive entertainment system and setup. Papi du Papi boasts a big bridge-deck theater room, featuring a 103-inch screen, a Kaleidescape library, Crestron controls, and Bowers & Wilkins speakers.
The theater room isn’t the only area on board that received high-tech attention. The wheelhouse also showcases a highly advanced design, as conceived by the captain.
Papi du Papi comprises six staterooms and five crew cabins. The main-deck master suite includes a private salon, an office, a dressing room, a bedroom, and a generous his and her bathroom featuring Jerusalem stone in the shower and the bath. The other staterooms reside on the lower deck and include two double and three twin en suite cabins. The decor is consistent with the rest of the yacht, and a rosewood staircase joins the decks.
Exterior spaces make way for alfresco entertainment, from the large stern beach club with indoor/outdoor lounging space, to the aft main deck, and up to the bridge deck with its casual dining and lounging area, all the way up to the vast sundeck with a large spa pool, bar, and sunning chairs. A tender garage houses the yacht’s Castoldi Jet 21, while the Castoldi rescue tender is stowed on the foredeck.
Andrea Vallicelli, in conjunction with ISA’s in-house team, penned the streamlined exterior lines of this tri-deck full-displacement motor yacht built in steel and aluminum. The hull form from Vallicelli utilizes a bulbous bow and provides for great performance and efficient consumption. Two Caterpillar 3512C engines propel Papi du Papi to a top speed of 16 knots, with a range of 4,400 nautical miles while cruising at 11 knots.
