Valentine’s day is that time of the year to wear your heart on your sleeve, apart from Christmas of course. While an engagement ring, is an ideal way to proclaim your love to a significant other, a romantic dinner may be a suitable alternative. After all, who can say no to good food, a fine tipple and romance? While many venues are offering Valentine’s Day specials, few pay extra attention to every tiny detail to make the night perfect for all the enamoured couples they will host.
Opened just a year ago, Whitegrass has succeeded in becoming one of the most romantic restaurants in Singapore. From his homeland, Chef Sam Aisbett has brought flavors and techniques and his restaurant is now a flagship of Modern Australian fine dining in Singapore.

2. Privé Grill and Waterfront Oyster Bar
Is there anything more romantic than a night on a private island? The dream becomes a reality thanks to Privé Grill, at Keppel Bay, as the complex stands on a private island. Serving up modern French cuisine, it offers majestic views of the Singapore River and the Marina. Next door, Privé Waterfront Oyster Bar can get you in a romantic mood with an aphrodisiac mise-en-bouche and a few cocktails. On Feb 14, the Grill will serve a four-course meal, including lobster risotto and a romantic red velvet cake. And because it is all about little things, they can provide bouquets of roses on demand.

3. Saint Pierre
This year, Saint Pierre is setting the stage for romance with panoramic views of the Marina Bay skyline and a finely crafted dinner. The Valentine’s Day ten-course menu includes, among many other delicacies, fresh bream bay abalone, floral honey roasted langoustine and ends with a charcoal profiterole, served with a matcha frozen crème patissière.

Located on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands, Spago has, in addition to a fine Californian-inspired cuisine, outstanding views of the skyline and Gardens to offer. The alfresco bar overlooks Marina Bay Sands’ famous infinity pool, making it the perfect place for a glass of wine before diner. On February 14th, couples will have the occasion to savour a revisited version of the traditional Kaya Toast, with seared foie gras, as well as a pan seared red snapper “Laksa” or a kobe beef sirloin. In total, 6 options of starters and 7 options of mains will be available, making sure everyone finds something to their taste.

5. Elevated Valentine’s Day Experience at Angie’s, Sear and Empire
The last on our list is an all-inclusive premium tour, taking couples to 3 different locations and providing premium services and surprises each time. Following the first stop at Angie to enjoy oysters and champagne, the guests get into a Dom Perignon Champagne Limousine, bringing them to a three-course meal, at Sear, where they will taste some of the best meats and caviar around. A tour of the kitchen is also scheduled. Finally, the journey ends up at Empire, where a private table awaits. Roses, Dom Perignon Rose and special music dedications are to expect.
