This is a mashup of my favourite songs that were released in 2015 titled “Raheem D – 2015 A Year In Music”. It features hit artists such as Justin Bieber, Adele, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Drake and plenty more. It also features hit songs such as “What Do You Mean” “Sorry” and “Hello”.
It took a while, but it’s finally here! Let me explain the delay:
When it came to around September which is when I normally start to prepare my year end, a lot of mashup DJ’s received copyright strikes to their channel for the use of almost any song. This infuriated me due to YouTube’s broken copyright system and made me decide I wasn’t going to create a year end because of how unsafe they were. It wasn’t until December came around when a few year end mashups had been released that I realized no one had really made a year end with music that I listened to this year and with a lot persuading I decided I would be making another year end.
Songs Used:
I realized a LOT of artists I listened to this year weren’t the biggest acts that were on the radio. My most favourite songs came from Troye Sivan, Janet Jackson, Nathan Sykes etc. Whereas the radio continued to play Silento, Fetty Wap and whoever else. Luckily for me, my year end is not based on the top charting songs but songs I genuinely enjoyed so I could still include some of my favourite tracks! My year end is also not based on Pop songs but any genre that I liked *mostly Pop, R&B and Hip/Hop* There’s also some songs here that were added because they genuinely were huge this year and it’d be weird not to add them *Sugar, Trap Queen etc*.
