Kanye West – THE LIFE OF PABLO Album Review

Kanye named this album a few days before releasing it…but there was a delay there where he wanted to add more tracks and oh whatever. This album is a weird Frankenstein at times held together by duct tape and staples. It does shine in its second half, considering it feels a lot more…cohesive? But the first half strikes a lot like a stuck-up artsy kid that believes every paint splash he puts on a canvas is genius. The disjointed nature of this disc IS sort of quirky and unique, but its not the best album ever. Far from it. Its not even the best album in Kanye’s discography. Its a middle of the road work, who’s biggest benefit is actually that it doesn’t take itself overly seriously at all times.

Also Kanye is now saying his name as a lyric. Someone call Ludacris, his gimmick is being stolen.
