New details are starting to emerge from Lil Wayne’s upcoming Gone ‘Til November: A Journal of Rikers Island book. The forthcoming memoir which documented Weezy’s life while in New York prison is starting to uncover some juicy details. The book, which hits stores on October 11, follows the eight months Weezy spent in Rikers for gun charges filed after his 2007 arrest. The New York Post reports that the memoir has its share of epiphanies (“I always thought I needed things like … a Bugatti, a dope-ass crib. But once it was taken away from me, my creativity was put to the ultimate test”), and also recollects some vivid moments such as this one time Drake visited him with some very bad news – he slept with Lil Wyane’s girl while he was locked up: “Drizzy came to see me, he was like, ‘Yeah, it’s true’. Damn! This is the type of shit a man never wants to find out while he is locked up.” Despite that, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the two and they’re expected to be working on some new music in the coming months.
