OKOKOK & PLEASURES Collaborate on a Bold Range of Graphic Tees

PLEASURES joins forces with emerging Hong Kong streetwear brand OKOKOK to bring Eastern influences into the streetwear fold. Collaborating with PLEASURES on its signature graphic tees, OKOKOK draws inspiration from ’80s Hong Kong gang films, virtual culture and DIY aesthetics to create a capsule collection that is not only distinctive, but also aligned with PLEASURES’ punk aesthetic. The two black tees in the collection riff on band tees from the death metal bands Bathory and Cannibal Corpse, featuring a bold interplay of graphics and typography. “We have been fans of PLEASURES for a while now, and everything that PLEASURES does has been an influence on our brand,” said the OKOKOK team, citing common punk rock inspirations including Minor Threat, The Smiths and SLC Punk. “We reached out to them to see if they would like to do Cannibal Corpse and Bathory shirts since we are both fans of the bands.” To coincide with the collaboration’s release, OKOKOK has created a PLEASURES-inspired mixtape, now available online along with the tees.
