Scooter Braun Explains What It Is Like To Manage Kanye West

With a resume that reads managing Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and Karlie Kloss, one might say there is little left to proof for Scooter Braun. Braun appears to disagree as he recently expanded his repertoire by recently adding Kanye West to his client list. In a conversation with Charlie Rose, the Connecticut native opens up about discovering Bieber and managing his career, the making of Justin’s latest album Purpose before he sheds light on how he’s become the manager of his friend Kanye West.

“I can tell you the one thing that is my goal with working with him is I hope the world gets to see the guy that I’ve gotten to know,” he says. “A lot of people have an assumption that he might be selfish or arrogant. The guy who I’ve gotten to know—who I am learning to translate to others—is someone who literally got himself in financial trouble because he would give the shirt off his back to help someone.”
