UPDATE: Kanye West’s Pop-Up Show At Webster Hall Cancelled

UPDATE: The show at Webster Hall was cancelled. According to Kanye’s Twitter account, the show was sold out, but in the video below you can see them planning to shut down street blocks to accommodate everyone. Following this announcement, hyped fans nearly rioted outside of Webster Hall as seen in the photos below. Everyone left in disappointed however around 1:20 am, after the venue tweeted there will be no show.

Bad weather affected two festivals in New York City. The final day of Governors Ball Music Festival, which was co-headlined by Kanye West, was cancelled while Hot 97’s Summer Jam also had to shut down one of its stages, which led to the cancellation of performances by Chance the Rapper, Tory Lanez, Desiigner, and Curren$y. Luckily, Summer Jam’s main stage is open, which ended up in a surprise performance by Kanye and the G.O.O.D. Music squad including Big Sean, Pusha T, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Young Thug, Future, Travis Scott, and DJ Khaled. According to Virgil Abloh’s Instagram, there will be an additional performance at 2 a.m. at the Webster Hall in Manhattan.
