Politicians have used songs for their campaigns without authorization for years, and the latest in a long line is Donald Trump, who emerged onto a smokey stage like a rockstar to Queen’s “We Are The Champions” at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland last week. Now, John Oliver has selected the ongoing issue as a topic of discussion on his popular HBO show Last Week Tonight.
