In 2014, Jordan Brand unveiled the first ever “Cigar & Champagne” Pack, a celebration of Michael Jordan’s championships using an Air Jordan shoe as the platform for the event. Twenty three years ago, in June of 1993, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls won an NBA Championship, but this one was extra-special as it completed the “three-peat” of rings. During that season, Jordan laced up the Air Jordan 8, and it’s in this upcoming June 2016 release that the silhouette gets elevated like never before. It starts with a black colorway, which makes use of tumbled leather, graphics of confetti on the mudguard, and an attached bag of actual confetti to help you celebrate your latest pick-up. The white colorway makes use of a shimmering metallic gold mudguard with MJ’s fingerprints. This celebratory release is expected to release at select Jordan retailers like SoleFly on June 25th with an MSRP of $250 per pair.
