The Concepts x New Balance “Rivalry” Pack Goes Global

Boston staples Concepts and New Balance are a match made in collaborative heaven. With baseball season in full bloom, the Bostonian boutique has teamed up with the running brand once again to give us the freshly minted New Balance 997 and New Balance 998 “City Rivalry Pack”. The two pair release pays homage to America’s pastime and the de facto rivalry in professional sports, pitting the Yankees against the hometown Red Sox by transforming these retro runners into two premium offerings. New York City is represented through the New Balance 997, as the Statue of Liberty gets a nod with a minty fresh green suede upper. The insoles are even inspired by Cracker Jacks. Boston’s New Balance 998 is inspired by the famous Yawkey Way with a rustic red and muted green splitting the colorway in half. After a limited stateside release, Concepts’ latest New Balance collaboration will arrive at global retailers this Saturday, April 16th.
