After teasing the film back in August, Warner Bros. and Syncopy have released the first full-length trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming Dunkirk. Nolan’s first feature film since 2014′s Interstellar, the Dark Knight Trilogy director’s World War II epic focuses on 1940′s Operation Dynamo (or “the Miracle of Dunkirk”) as Allied troops were evacuated from the beaches and harbors of northern France after being surrounded by German forces in the aftermath of the “colossal military disaster” that was the Battle of France.
Featuring a young and unknown ensemble cast alongside Nolan favorites like Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy (not to mention Harry Styles), Dunkirk is set to hit theaters on July 21, 2017.
