If there is one thing you should know about L’Entrecôte, it is that it does one of the best steak and fries in town. Now, French restaurateur, CEO and founder of Deliciae Hospitality Management (DHM) Olivier Bendel wants to bring the best of Paris to you with L’Entrecôte Wine Bar.
Nestled within quaint Duxton Hill and next to the L’Entrecôte Steak and Fries Bistro, the wine bar’s only aim is to bring a classically authentic Parisian experience to Singapore. “I fell in love with Duxton Hill in 2010 with the opening of L’Entrecôte. Duxton Hill is just so Singaporean and so French at the same time: a perfect representation of my identity. Hence, I have always been on the lookout for more opportunities on Duxton,” said Bendel. “I have also always wanted a place with an authentic Parisian feel to complement L’Entrecôte, offering the best French wine and bites, just like a café in Montmartre, Paris. Thus, this was a spot I could not miss.”
The diverse selection of small bites and sharing plates are designed to complement the drinks on menu. Choose to excite your palette with the Smoked Duck Breast Tartine or Smoked Salmon Tartine; or share a variety of cold cuts (Duck Rilettes, Pate de Campagne and more) and cheese platters with friends and family. Premium cheese is also available a la carte, so ordering your favourite is always an option.
The wine bar also scores high on the ambience card with its laid-back, unpretentious design. The vintage photos in old-fashioned frames within the store also evoke a distinct sense of French nostalgia and savoir-faire.
