French patisserie house LadurÃ©e regularly collaborates with high-end fashion designers to launch limited edition dessert collections, and have featured unique dessert collections by distinguished fashion houses such as Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, MatthewÂ Williamson andÂ TsumoriÂ Chisato.
This new year, fans of the French patisserie will have something new to look forward to. Once again, LadurÃ©e has teamed up with another high-end fashion label, Vera Wang, to create a delectable collection of macarons in black and white theme.
Inspired by the emblematic work (iconic bridal designs) of American fashion designer, Vera Wang, the new desserts creation feature a beautiful composition of wedding cake composed of all-white mango and coconut to resemble theÂ undulatingÂ fabricÂ of a wedding dress, and the macarons are made from coconut Chantilly crÃ¨me. The designs exude elegance and simplicity in terms of look and flavour.
What’s more, the storefront window displays (in its usual traditional colour palette of pretty pastels) will transform into a dramaticÂ monochromatic, black and white palette to exude a wedding feel until January 26.
TheÂ Vera Wang XÂ LadurÃ©eÂ collection is only available in New York City for a limited time only. The macarons come together in a gift box of six (retail price: USD 24 (S$32), while the individual mini-cakes are available at USD 20 (S$26.50).
