stuff we drool about

ZERO LABS ELECTRIC FORD BRONCO

While we wait anxiously for the debut of the 2020 Ford Bronco, we?ll
keep drooling over the vintage version of the iconic 4×4. We have seen a
variety of resto-modded models, but  Zero Labs
is taking a different approach to restoring Broncos with an
all-electric version built on an original chassis.  The company will
work its restoration magic on the 1966-1977 Ford Bronco. Once finished,
one such vehicle (just 150 are planned to see daylight) will pack over
10,000 original components as well as high-tech materials like
aerospace-grade carbon fiber body panels. Each electric SUV will feature
a 70 kWh lithium-ion battery pack matted up to a BorgWarner electric
motor, providing 369 horsepower and 190 miles of range. The
four-wheel-drive beauty is equipped with a five-speed manual
transmission, and also features six-piston Brembo brake calipers, Currie
front and rear differentials, and the Fox adjustable coil over
suspension setup. You can reserve your Zero Labs Ford Bronco for no
extra fee, but we?ll have to wait for official pricing. watch the video below
