Canadian retailer /017 recently highlighted some key pieces from Hyein Seo’s video game and anime inspired Fall/Winter 2017 “Final Boss” collection to feature in its latest editorial. Opting for a dark and moody red-tinged look, the editorial highlights some of the striking graphic and text-laden pieces from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp graduate and former VFILES designer’s latest range. Informed by a rebellious spirit, the South Korean designer’s “Final Boss” collection explores the dystopian worlds found in video games and anime. Some key pieces displayed, include a cigarette pouch-bearing MA-1 bomber jacket, corduroy military pants and a graphic layered T-shirt.
