After unveiling an all-weather GORE-TEX version of its Stan Smith silhouette, adidas Originals has introduced another footwear pack for the upcoming wet and windy months. The pack contains the AF 1.3 PK and AF 1.4 PK, two new silhouettes that mix modern design with technical additions suitable for winter.
The AF 1.3 PK is a high-top that draws inspiration from Germany’s elite tactical police unit, GSG 9. The shoe comes with a Primeknit upper protected by waterproof-coated overlays and reinforced by a weather-resistant lining. Other features include an insulated sock-liner, full-length lacing system, and an outsole influenced by heavy-duty hiking shoes. The low-top AF 1.4 PK features coated overlays, insluation linings and a hiking outsole, contrasting the AF 1.3 PK’s all-white colorway with a black design with white tooling.
The AF 1.3 PK and AF 1.4 PK are both set to drop via select retailers on October 19. To tide you over until then, check out the brand’s recent EQT collaboration with Parley for the Oceans.
