Last year, Chinese streetwear brand ATTEMPT catered to the “urban dweller” with a fall/winter range based on a mix of “minimalist tones , functional tailoring and relaxed silhouettes.” This time around, the label is re-purposing and evolving some of the same approaches and aesthetics for its latest cool season run.
Inspired by Truman Capote’s classic novel In Cold Blood, ATTEMPT delivers a 2017 fall/winter lookbook centered around themes of the complexity of society and mankind. Like its 2016 predecessor, this collection for the colder months works with a more minimalist color palette and pushes contemporary, relaxed fits. When it comes to primary differences, it looks like the Chinese label is starting to experiment with the overall look of its fall and winter offerings, resulting in the sort of styling that you would find on a high-fashion runway.
