Drake took a not-so-subtle shot at fellow Torontonian Tory Lanez the first night of his ‘Summer Sixteen’ tour on Wednesday. Drizzy switched up the first lines of the second verse on his opening song “Summer Sixteen” to “All you boys doing fake Controllas want to be me a little.” This references Tory Lanez’s remix of Drake’s dancehall track, as well as Lanez’s new songs which have more of a Jamaican twist since Drake repopularized the style. However, many listers claimed that Tory made the better version; check out the clip below as well as Twitter responses from fans.
