Incredibles 2 Can Be Dangerous to Some Viewers

Slight spoilers ahead. Incredibles 2 has already received some great reviews — currently, it has a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, there are somethings in the film that’s causing a few problems for viewers. It’s now been reported that individuals with light sensitivities could get sick simply by watching some of the sequences. Specifically, the use of strobe light effects in the movie has already caused few to become triggered by the scenes.

A Twitter user by the name of @veron4ica (Veronica Lewis) has kicked off the warnings and has mentioned that the lights could “cause issues for people with epilepsy, migraines and chronic illness.” She also goes on to say that the “scenes trigger problems for people with photosensitive epilepsy, but also “those who suffer from migraines, vision impairments, seizure conditions, vertigo (specifically flicker vertigo), autism, ADHD, and PTSD could also experience a reaction to the images.”

Thanks to Veronica Lewis, who has caused her warnings to spread, Disney Pixar has taken action and the studio has already started giving warnings at theaters about the strobe light effects in the movie and the possible harm it can do. See her Twitter thread below.
