Kanye West to Debut His Own Art Installation Live at Upcoming Gala & Art Show in the Hamptons

Kanye West has been added as a last-minute contributor to the upcoming annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit, The New York Times reports. Titled “FADA: House of Madness,” the event is expected to be a glamorous evening that will include a gala, live concert, art show, silent auction, dinner, and cocktails, with a theme inspired by Le Corbusier‘s esteemed La Maison du Fada (or Nutter’s House) in France. Hosted by a slew of multi-disciplinary artists, the evening will also be joined by household names like Marina Abramović, Lady Gaga, Jenny Holzer and Nan Goldin as members of the event board.

In addition to his performance, Mr. West will also be debuting an original art installation made in collaboration with visual artist and event founder Robert Wilson that will be displayed alongside the work of other luminaries in the arts and music realms like English singer ANOHNI, visual arts collective Bruce High Quality Foundation, and Russian feminist punk-rock group Pussy Riot, as well as the Watermill Center’s emerging artists.

The 23rd Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit and Auction will be held at the Watermill Center in New York on July 30 from 6 p.m.-12 a.m. Tickets are now available online for a price range of $650–$100,000 USD.
