Miguel Drops “Remember Me (Duo)” for ‘Coco’

In the past few months, superstar singer-songwriter Miguel has been building up support for his fourth studio album, War & Leisure. Recently, we’ve seen the multi-talented artist work with fellow Californians OverDoz. KYLE and Travis Scott; he’s also put in work for BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Live Lounge and performed two new cuts on Colbert. With the weekend and the end of the month upon us, Miguel takes a brief detour from War & Leisure to bolster another creative venture.

Linking up with Mexican pop-rock sensation Natalia Lafourcade, Miguel serves up a new joint single known as “Remember Me (Duo).” Released in support of the new Disney and Pixar animated film Coco, the track adds to the Dia de Muertos-themed narrative that propels the movie’s storyline. While today’s drop definitely airs on the more pop-leaning side of Miguel’s sound, it does allow the “Shockandawe” musician to flex his renowned vocal skills.

You can stream Miguel and Natalia Lafourcade’s new joint single “Remember Me (Duo)” above, and expect to hear much more from Miguel in the coming months.

While it won’t hit theaters until November 22, you can check out Coco‘s trailer in the meantime.
