MISBHV Spring/Summer 2019 Collection | HYPEBEAST

At the beginning of 2018, MISBHV revealed a Fall/Winter 2018 collection that was influenced by subcultural movements from all sides of the creative spectrum. Now, for the seasonal follow-up, the brand looks to Post-WWII art for its inspirational cues.

For MISBHV’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection, the labels designers have chosen to pay homage to the evolution of Polish art following the conclusion of World War II. Specifically, MISBHV’s latest lineup is inspired by the artful design of posters in post-war Poland — which would later lead to the creation of the Polish School of Posters.

Collaborating with acclaimed Polish artist Rislaw Szaybo, MISBHV has put together a Spring/Summer 2019 that stays true to its artistic motivations. Notably, the range delivers new takes on technical workwear, prints, “conservative tailoring,” muted color palettes and lightweight nylon. Altogether, MISBH’s new collection aims to create a “visual, social and stylistic conversation.”
