Raleigh Ritchie & Napapijri Reinvent Four Seasons

Songwriter and constant thorn in the side of the Lannisters, Raleigh Ritchie has been working with premium casual apparel brand Napapijri on their ambitious, multi-sensory music experience the brand held at Zalando’s Bread & Butter festival of fashion in Berlin last week. Enlisting the distinct styles of four eclectic musicians, including Tokimonsta, Jan Blomqvist, Sharon Doorson, and of course Raleigh Ritchie, Napapijri tasked these individuals with reinterpreting one of classical music’s most influential and seminal compositions, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

Combining effects that stimulated all the senses, including intense, atmospheric visuals and perfumes that captured the scent of various natural environments, each musician’s track represented a particular season and allowed them to express their own personal feelings about that season.

Watch our film above, scroll through the gallery below, and listen to Ritchie’s track to discover how he approached reinterpreting such an important piece of music. For any more information, check out the Napapijri 4seasons website.
