Virgil Abloh x Nike “TEXTBOOK” Download Available

Nike and Virgil Abloh have finally completed the entire original 10 collaborative sneakers with the final release of the Virgil Abloh Chuck Taylor 70. Now it appears a book, that originally released back in Fall 2017, has released online which chronicles the entire process.

Titled “TEXTBOOK”, the Virgil Abloh x Nike “TEN ICONS RECONSTRUCTED” collection is forever bound in this 258-paged book — available seemingly as a large PDF file — that showcases the design elements and inspirations behind each model. Within the pages you’ll find imagery and text that coincide with The Ten, behind-the-scenes photos of Virgil, words spoken about the massive endeavor and more. Furthermore, the Foreward writes that research and background stories were prepared by the late sneaker journalist Gary Warnett.

Peruse a selection of the pages in the gallery above and read the entire 258-page book here. As the story continues, the next huge release between Virgil and Nike is the Air Jordan 1 “Powder Blue” which saw two consecutive releases on SNKRS.
