Wiki Runs for Office in New “Mayor” Music Video

Not long after announcing plans to release a new album for XL Recordings, Ratking frontman Wiki has just announced the official release date for the project. The rapper’s debut album, No Mountains in Manhattan, will arrive this Friday, August 25 and will feature Ghostface Killah, Lakutis, ACAB, Slicky Boy, Your Old Droog and more. Meanwhile, production credits include Ratking’s Sporting Life, Tony Seltzer, Kaytranada, Earl Sweatshirt, and Wiki himself.

To coincide with the announcement, Wiki has also shared a new visual for “Mayor” that finds the New York rapper sharing his story from being a “little rapper” to becoming “The Mayor.” Directed by Matt Lubansky, the video follows Wiki on an unconventional campaign trail as he lobbies for votes from the people of New York.
