UPDATE: XXXTentacion has been officially pronounced dead by the Broward Co. Sheriff’s Dept.
As TMZ reports, rapper XXXTentacion has been shot in Miami, Florida. XXX was reportedly “shopping for motorcycles” in the South Florida area, and was apparently shot as he was exiting the motorcycle dealership. According to “dispatch audio” obtained by TMZ, the incident involved several shots and might have been “a drive-by.” The “alleged shooters” fled the area “in a black Dodge Journey,” and the Broward County Fire Department also explained that XXX “has been rushed” to a local hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
While details concerning the incident are scarce at the time of publishing, TMZ has posted blurred footage of the scene. As the visual shows, several bystanders appeared to be trying to help.
