Adler Group and UP Design have recently unveiled a new Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001, a one-off creation that features a unique bodywork which blends the Alfa Romeo 4c latest design language with aesthetics more evocative of a supercar thanks to creative re-interpretation by Umberto Palermo, founder and CEO of UP Design. It was then brought to showcase at the “Mole Automobiles” stand at the Parco Valentino Auto Show on Sunday 10th June.
“I was struck by his unique style. We waited for the moment of his professional maturity to create a beautiful partnership between our two realities and a new all-Italian automotive hub”
Alfa Romeo Mole Costruzione Artigianale 001 is a One-off SuperCar
The partnership between Paolo Scudieri, president of the Adler group, and Umberto Palermo, founder and CEO of UP Design stems from a mutual admiration for each other’s craft. Scudieri said in a statement “I was struck by his unique style. We waited for the moment of his professional maturity to create a beautiful partnership between our two realities and a new all-Italian automotive hub”.
Palermo shared similar sentiments, “After a journey that led to the creation of numerous concept cars, this one-off is the first fruit of our understanding that combines my pencil and Paolo’s innovative and entrepreneurial visions.”
Specialised in the interior design, the new Alfa-Mole features matte metal applications juxtaposed against leather in orange and grey as well as carbon fibre trim on the doors, boasting the know-how and the precious materials of the companies of the Adler group and the best craftsmanship of Neapolitan leather goods, a true epitome of a luxurious ride that is stylish inside out.
To top off this bespoke supercar, the Alfa-Mole uses a turbocharged 1,8-liter four-cylinder engine with 237 hp (176 kW) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. This is enough to send the Alfa Romeo 4C from 0 to 60mph in 4.1 seconds and onto a top speed of 160mph (257km/h).
