Benetti launches BF104 MY ‘”Lejos 3″ from Fast 125’ line in Viareggio

Hitting the waters on Tuesday, May 23 at a shipyard in Viareggio was luxury yacht maker Benetti’s BF104 M/Y “Lejos 3”. The 38-metre superyacht from the Fast line of yachts is the fourth Fast 125’ unit built by the shipyard. Fitted with the innovative Azipull Carbon propulsion system, she will be delivered to the owner in the coming months.

The 38.1 metre long and 8.23-metre wide superyacht has four sprawling decks. Living spaces include an owner’s suite, four VIP cabins, a saloon and dining area and a smaller living area while the Main Deck and Upper Deck both provide copious amounts of space for guests to lounge and mingle. One of the highlights includes the Sun Deck that was designed entirely for the comfort and entertainment of its guests. The Sun Deck has a standard sized swimming pool on top of the larger custom pool available at the bow of the Upper Deck.

Benetti continues to bring stunning designs to the vessels. The exteriors are dressed in the signature sporty, sleek accents of designer Stefano Righini. Redman Whiteley Dixon is the brains behind the interiors, basing the structure on Benetti’s Air configuration — the most contemporary of the three interior decoration options offered to owners of the Fast 125’ fleet.

Of course, the Azipull Carbon propulsion system plays a big role in the technical aspect of this yacht. Developed jointly with Rolls Royce, Benetti’s new Azipull technology has enabled the Fast 125’ yachts to increase weight reduction and handling, allowing for smoother and more stable sailing. The technical innovations installed onboard include the D2P_Displacement to Planning® hull with wave piercer, which allows more streamlined movement. The yacht is able to be used both in displacement mode for reduced consumption at low speeds, as well as in planning mode at higher speeds — both being extremely convenient and comfortable for guests.

The launch of the M/Y “Lejos 3” comes just a few days after the market debut of M/Y “Skyler”, the third unit in the series, that joins the M/Y “Ironman” and the M/Y “Constance Joy”, respectively first and second hull of the Fast 125’ line.
