Dynamiq has expanded its sporty range of Gran Turismo Transatlantic yachts with the full-aluminium GTT 160, a 49.5m four-deck motor yacht with a starting price of €19.9 million (US$21.85 million) and a two-year delivery time.

Aimed at active owners, the six-cabin GTT 160 can cross the Atlantic at 14 knots due to a fast-displacement hull by Dutch hydrodynamic specialist Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Exterior styling is by Dobroserdov Design, which is headed by Sergei Dobroserdov, Dynamiq’s founder and CEO.
The yacht has a signature touch-and-go helipad on the upper deck, while other standout features include a 120sqm beach club that features a 12-person hot tub, large swim platform, aft-facing sunpads and an enclosed spa with sauna, hammam and an almost 40sqm convertible gymnasium with space for a massage table.
The main-deck interior features a saloon, dining area, large galley and master stateroom, which features two large fixed side balconies. The lower deck features five guest cabins including a full-beam VIP suite.

The upper deck includes a cinema lounge with a 75-inch screen, as well as a bar area, while the sun deck hosts a second helm position and plenty of room for sunbathing. A forward garage can house a 21ft tender, while there’s accommodation for up to eight crew.
“The idea was to create the most attractive proposal for a superyacht of just under 50m,” Dobroserdov said. “There are so many 50m yachts below 500GT available, but they all look very similar with pretty much the same functionality, so we asked ourselves, ‘What can we bring to the market that makes more sense for our clients?’
“The answer was to focus on modern owners’ priorities and leave the less important things aside, so we designed the GTT 160 with the accent on the key factors: well-being, efficiency and price.”

The fast-displacement hull has been designed with an aft ‘hull vane’ foil for extra lift underway, improving fuel efficiency. When fitted with MAN six-cylinder 537kW engines, the GTT 160 has a range of 4,000nm at 10 knots and a top speed of 17 knots.
The S version features a pair of MAN V12-1800 engines for a top speed of 23 knots, while an optional hybrid system with zero-emission electric mode can provide silent cruising up to eight knots.
“In terms of naval architecture, we selected a slender hull with a long waterline that is much more efficient and comfortable than a short, wide one,” Dobroserdov said. “Rather than maximising the interior volume, we analysed everything an owner wants or needs in terms of general arrangement and features.”

Dynamiq recently sold its first GTT 115 model to a northern European client, who has renamed the 35m motor yacht Jaaber. The yacht, originally called 1 of 7, was reviewed in Yacht Style Issue 48 (Jul-Aug 2019).
Delivered in 2018, the all-aluminium build features naval architecture by Vripack and exterior and interior design by Austria-based Studio FA Porsche. RINA classed and MCA compliant, the yacht has accommodation for six guests in three lower-deck cabins, as well as up to six crew.
The hybrid yacht is fitted with twin 650hp MAN V12 diesel engines, so is capable of cruising at 6-7 knots in silent mode. The yacht has a top speed of 21 knots and a cruising range of 3,400nm.
