The 2018 Cannes Yachting Festival – 11 to 16 September – will be in its 41st edition and is touted to be the mecca for yachting enthusiasts all over the world to check out new models from prestigious makes. Numarine is all set to debut two new models: 26XP and 32XP at this prestigious yachting event.

Turkish-based Numarine will make no exception to wow the Cannes Yachting Festival crowds by debuting the 32XP. The 32XP has already won several yachting accolades: Asia Boating Awards 2018 Winner, The International Yacht & Aviation Award 2018 Winner and Motorboat Motor Boat Awards Finalist 2017; and most recently was the nominee for The World Superyacht Awards Nominee.

This luxurious 32.5-metre superyacht, dubbed “Marla”, is bent on exploring the high seas. Its interiors offer impeccable, well-appointed details and features with unique layouts. Every room can be customised to the nth degree. More importantly, the seamless integration of systems is the key principle of this striking superyacht. This user-friendly craft is managed by Energy Solutions so it can run without an engineer. She offers room for 12 guests and is primed for long-haul cruises.

The main deck of the 32XP offers a generous cockpit with a sunpad area, an expansive 48-sqm saloon, an expansive professional kitchen and gymnasium. On the lower deck, the layout offers two VIP Cabins mid-ship and a pair of double cabins, all with ensuite bathrooms, and over 85 square meters of living space.

The owner’s cabin offers over 40 sqm of living space while the aft part of the deck fits a spectacular 9-meter RIB tender and two PWCs in navigation. The total external area on the upper deck is 129 square meters, while the flybridge offers another 60 square metres of entertainment space. Marla’s engines displace power to soar the craft to 14 knots, a cruise speed of 12 knots and can cover a 4,000 nm range at 9 knots.

Numarine 26XP

Not to be outshone, the Numarine 26XP Expedition Yacht is something to behold. This super-fast craft can hit the waves at 28 knots for you to scale oceanic sojourns in a jiffy. Exterior wise, the craft’s aesthetics showcases a vertical bow, angular pilothouse, and heavy-shouldered hull shape.

Exterior wise, it offers generous social spaces: three settees in the foredeck area, a lounge and sunbed in the aft cockpit, and a huge flybridge that covers two-thirds of the boat, or 1,000 square feet. Under its hardtop are a dining area and grill/wet bar for outdoor entertaining.

Numarine 26XP’s interiors

Don’t snub this mini-explorer’s interior because designer Can Yalman creates living spaces with a certain je ne sais quoi. In fact, its interiors look more at home on a larger, more stylish design! Yalmon clearly wanted an explorer yacht to jettison all manner of detailing that would be boring and stodgy; instead, he has created living areas to be inviting and warm, worthy of a liveaboard experience. Owners of this stunning craft have all these spoils: elegant main saloon offering oceanfront, residential feel, full-height windows, lounges, open-plan areas, master suite, private study, full-beam bathroom, four guest staterooms – that’s two VIPs and two twins – are on the deck below.

As mentioned before, the 26XP is a cheetah on the waves because it displaces 1,550 hp via twin MAN diesel engines so you can cruise at 28 knots effortlessly. Numarine also took great pains to lower vibration and reduce noise across the interior. The noise in the lower rooms is a mere whisper-quiet 35 dBA, equivalent to being in a library.
