Adidas Consortium is collaborating with Aberdeen-based retailer Hanon to create a shoe inspired by the ever-changing Scottish weather. The adidas Consortium x Hanon “Dark Storm” puts several unique spins on the adidas New York silhouette that embody the dark clouds that sweep over eastern Scotland during a rainstorm. The upper is made up of a gradient grey and black jacquard woven material surrounded by grey and black suede accents. The gradient color scheme continues onto the Dellinger webbing over the white midsole. The shoe does not come without its distinctive markings, as Hanon and adidas co-branding can be found throughout, including on the inner-tongue that bears the coordinates of Hanon’s hometown of Aberdeen.
This carefully detailed new offering from adidas Consortium will first be available on December 2nd from Hanon and hanon-shop.com. On December 9th, the shoe will release at select adidas Consortium accounts, which are listed below.
