First rumored in early March, the Air Jordan 14 “Gym Red” is inching closer to its tentative June release. Newly-surfaced images of the pair reveal a complete look at what will arrive to retailers.
Debuted at the tail-end of Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance” season with the Chicago Bulls, the Jordan 14 is oft-overshadowed by the footwear in which Jordan won his first five NBA Championships. Yet, this “Gym Red” iteration of the ’98 silhouette is sure to shake up some naysayer’s opinions. Akin to the Jordan 4 “Toro” and Jordan 5 “Raging Bull,” this pair makes a bold statement. Overlays and tooling at the forefoot, however, interrupt the scarlet arrangement. Italian sports car-inspired Jumpman logos on the lateral ankle further indulge in a “yin-and-yang” arrangement, which also throughout the heel and sole unit.
