First rumored in early March, the Air Jordan 14 “Gym Red” is inching closer to its tentative June release. Newly-surfaced images of the pair reveal a complete look at what will arrive to retailers.
Debuted at the tail-end of Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance” season with the Chicago Bulls, the Jordan 14 is oft-overshadowed by the footwear in which Jordan won his first five NBA Championships. Yet, this “Gym Red” iteration of the ’98 silhouette is sure to shake up some naysayer’s opinions. Akin to the Jordan 4 “Toro” and Jordan 5 “Raging Bull,” this pair makes a bold statement. Overlays and tooling at the forefoot, however, interrupt the scarlet arrangement. Italian sports car-inspired Jumpman logos on the lateral ankle further indulge in a “yin-and-yang” arrangement, which also throughout the heel and sole unit.
Currently, the Jordan 14 “Gym Red” is slated to release on June 27th, but that is subject to change given on-going delays caused by COVID-19. In either case, bookmark our Jordan Release 2020 page for all updates and enjoy a closer look at this pair here below.
Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Travis Scott Air Max 270 launches globally on May 29th.
