Bodega New Balance X-Racer Grey Pink

Retailer Bodega — known for their wide selection of streetwear items and immersive flagship stores — is far from foreign to the realm of footwear collaborations. Their portfolio has already racked up several projects with the likes of notable sneaker brands such as ASICS, Saucony, Vans, and Reebok, but this year they’re seeking to bring even more to the table. Shortly after teasing a forthcoming Swoosh partnership on the Dunk High, they’ve just announced that they’ll be linking back up with their Boston neighbors at New Balance once more for a sneaker collaboration built for your outdoor expeditions.

Steering away from the lifestyle category the two parties indulged in for their “No Bad Days” 997S that debuted last Fall, they’re now enhancing the X-Racer silhouette with all-terrain sensibility. Sporting an ultra-technical build, these come structured with rear overlays that feature bumpy textures, triangular lace flaps reminiscent of the Air Jordan 4, as well as suede/synthetic paneling unified along the toe box. Retro hiking elements are ushered in via its many accented hits of pink, purple, and teal trim, as well as its chunky sole piece that is accessorized with a grey/white speckled finish. Grab a detailed look here, and sit tight as we wait on its official release info.
