Gyakusou Nike SP19 Pegasus Turbo Vaporfly Release

Going on 10 years of Gyakusou, Jun Takahashi and Nike are ushering in their forthcoming Spring/Summer ’19 range, including apparel that imbue informed design as well as earth-toned themed colorways of the Vaporfly 4% and Pegasus Turbo. With running lying at the core of the collaboration’s ethos, the designer wanted to tackle an inspiration unlike most, toting the exercise as more of a meditative experience fit for running monks and those who prefer a backwards step. Outerwear maintains the lightweight construction found in previous collections, featuring a packable “Transform JKT” as well as a “Lightweight JKT” that uses skin temperature maps for mindful ventilation.
