New year, new kicks, but the same Russell Westbrook. The triple-double machine out of Oklahoma City has just unveiled his newest signature shoe with Jordan called the Why Not Zer0.2, a purely technical approach to his uniquely explosive style of basketball. Russell wanted to stay away from what’s “hot” and go pure performance, and so he and the Jordan design team arrived at, quite frankly, one of the best signature models out on the market right now. As we described earlier in our initial previews of the shoe, the Why Not Zer0.2 utilizes a Zoom-laden two-piece sole with an exposed mid-foot plate, while the upper takes on a deconstructed approach with exposed stitching, a lofted mid-foot strap, a double-layered heel for added support, and an exterior TPU at the heel for stability. The wild colorway, dubbed “Future History”, is made up of the colors of all the teams he’s played for and serves as the debut launch for this impressive new design.

Jordan confirms an official release date of January 10th, 2019 in full family sizes (adult, grade school, pre-school, toddler, and crib).
