Kenzo and Vans have long been acquainted, but after their last capsule, the high-end half delved further into their own proprietary line of sneakers, forgoing collaborative footwear as a result. 2020, however, marks the reprisal of the two’s partnership, ushering in the loud prints that made the prior collections stand out years ago. This time the Old Skool is at the helm of the two-part release, with each their own loud print sublimated onto the entire upper without any stops. The louder of the selection paints with all-over florals — roses, leafy greens, and much more obscured along the shape of the silhouette — with sparing hits of white calling attention to the laces and the iconic Jazz Stripe. In departure, its accompaniment paints with more affinity for cool tones as it draws an idyllic landscape within the panels of what’s available.
