Nike Air Force 1 Inside Out 898889-103

Following the first look of the Air Max 1 “Inside Out” earlier this month, the Air Force 1 is currently in production in a similar manner in which the upper is completely flipped in reverse, revealing the interior surfaces of the materials that make up the iconic shoe. There’s some interesting variation with the stitch layout around the Swoosh, creating an aesthetic that is skewed towards the popular deconstructed look. The tongue itself reveals the interior size-tag, while the toe-box reveals just half of the perforations. The way in which some of the panels float over the others only remind us of PSNY’s Air Force 1 High trio that released during last September’s Fashion Week festivities, although these do add a pop of colorway with the alternating heel-tabs in orange and royal blue. While a release isn’t know just yet, this AF1 Inside Out (not to be confused with the identically monikered versions from the mid 2000s) could be part of a larger collection of flipped Nikes aside from the Air Max 1. What other models would you like to see given this treatment?
