The Air Max Plus — or as some know it, the Tuned Air — has made quite a splash stateside with recent releases, going on to do more inventive things with a forthcoming gradient colorway. Dressed in the transitioning scheme, going from a dark gray to a much lighter shade, the upper’s base allures in visual intrigue despite its somewhat simplistic stylings. Paneling is kept quite minimal along the retro kit, though intersecting hardshell overlays separate the base into various segments. An aggressive sole unit dips and dives with the exposed bubbles emanating in a bright yellow tone, which extends throughout the overall make up with brightly lit lace stays, profile swooshes, and linings.
