Kevin Durant‘s been known to heat things up in the NBA Playoffs, and he’s doing it in style this year thanks to this “University Red” colorway of his brand-new Nike KD 12. A makeup that the Slim Reaper’s sported frequently through the course of the Warriors’ first round series against the plucky Clippers, the KD 12 offers a three-quarter cut, a soft and flexible Flyknit tongue, and a Zoom Air cushioning unit placed directly under the insole for maximum responsiveness. The tech is top-notch, but you play your best when you look your best, so this KD 12 features a bright red upper that’s accented with orange-reddish hits around the throat and black detailing on the tongue, collar, laces, and midfoot Swoosh. The shoe is then completed by a soft grey midsole with black/red speckle print thats encased in a sturdy translucent rubber shell. The Durantula’s new kicks will release on May 1st for $150 USD, so check a store list below to see what retailers will have stock.
