On December 8th, Kyrie Irving and the Boston Celtics traveled to the Windy City to take on the upstart Chicago Bulls, in which Irving laced up another special edition PE version of his Kyrie 5 sneaker. Done up in a Chi City-appropriate color combination of light blue and red, it has been given a
“Little Mountain” monicker inspired by the Lakota name bestowed to him in August by the Standing Rock Sioux tribe. Its tongue features the tribe’s seal decal which serves as a nod to his late mother, Elizabeth Ann Larson, who was an honored member of the tribe.
