With 2019 only just kicking off, there’s still quite an air of mystery behind the direction Nike will take forthcoming releases, though with emerging retro-styled pieces like the P-6000 hitting shelves, it may be time to prepare yourself for even more nostalgic creations. Following the popularity of the Vomero +5 — both with and without the overstated heel counter of a-cold-wall’s interpretation — the highly intricate silhouette is basking in a vintage influence as overlays and paneling hark back to the recognizable styles of older eras. Layers stack with various bits revealing the synthetic mesh underlying the entire construction while brighter tones coincide to call attention to the few branded accents. The swoosh is raised complete with a glossy finish while gold and silver finish off a seemingly robotic inspiration. Though a black on black pair is also on the way, this metallic make-up is geared for a release at Nike.com and select retailers come March 7th.
