Not nearly as beloved as the React Element 87, the React Element 55 has still managed to prove its staying power in an oversaturated market, giving consumers a lower-priced option without having to fight the hype while still carrying a similar aesthetic to 2018’s shoe of the year. Releasing in a bevy of in-line colorways, the 55 is set to drop in a clean combination of angelic white and a pastel-like yellow that takes shape on its midfoot Swoosh, lace stays, and on its plug-quipped sole unit next. Most obviously, the biggest deviation from the aforementioned 87 is the implementation of a stretchy mesh on the upper of the 55 as opposed to the more technical semi-translucent TPE featured on the 87. With official images of this new React Element 55 available below, you can expect its arrival on Nike.com and at other Swoosh houses very soon.
