When it comes to Nike SB, all eyes are currently fixated upon their forthcoming collaborations with the likes of Ben and Jerry’s, Instant Skateboards, and more, but the skateboarding division is attempting to divert the attention to their GR assortment for a brief second. Among this category is the GTS, and after playing a copycat role earlier this year by emerging in colorways resemblant of the Air Safari and “Sport Royal” Air Max 1s, it’s slowly shifting gears into creating its own unique styles. Following its last minimal appearance that combined black uppers with gum bottoms, the half pipe-ready model is now transitioning to a brighter color scheme. Synthetic bases and Swooshes are left untouched to a clean white, while the overlays of navy towards the forefoot/heels and grey midfoot paneling do most of the heavy lifting. Neighboring these is a splash of muted pink that takes over the entire outsole, as well as the lace loops closest to the ankle. If you’re interested in copping, these will be available in the coming weeks for $80 on Nike.com and at select SB retailers.
