Nike latest performance-to-sportswear crossover is ready to launch with the Vapor Street Flyknit, a street shoe inspired entirely by the brand’s pinnacle achievements in running. The overall design of the upper as well as the oversized Swoosh comes directly from the VaporFly Elite 4%, a sneaker that was created specifically for last year’s BREAKING2 initiative. The molded outsole is comprised of REACT foam cushioning, while the pointed heel that tapers into a peak is a result of the aerodynamics that lent to a 4% decrease in running time. Two colorways of the Vapor Street Flyknit are ready to launch on Friday, February 23rd.
