Part of J.R. Smith‘s pre-game warm-up routine now includes showing off some of the most hotly coveted footwear out on the market. The Cavs swingman just debuted a new black colorway of Virgil Abloh’s OFF WHITE x Nike Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit, a silhoeutte that pairs the running performance aspect of the Zoom Fly and the aesthetic o the Mercurial football legacy. The upper is adorned with over-sized polka dots that point to key strike zones in football, while the midsole boasts the “FOAM” innovation from REACT cushioning as well as the rainbow-gradient streak seen in the similar orange colorway.
The Zoom Fly Mercurial Flyknit isn’t one of earth-shattering “The Ten Icons”, but there’s no question that the buzz around this upcoming collaborative release will be just as high. See additional photos ahead and we’ll let you know when these are scheduled to release.
