Puma Sonic The Hedgehog Shoe

Last month, Puma broke the news that they were teaming up with SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise to help re-introduce the classic RS-0 silhouette. While the model comes devoid of any of the tech-savvy innovations it included back in the ’80’s, its new construction fits the ideals of today’s sneaker industry. Before, we only had a pixelated video-game like image to go off of, but now we have a first look at what is to expect come June. Its upper comes dressed in a Sonic-colored blue made up of hairy suede with yellow and red details mixed in. Sonic and Puma branding share real estate on the sneaker’s tongue while metal hardware adds a touch of luxury to its laces.
