Scooby Doo Converse Chuck 70 Hi Black White

Since 1969, the animation television series “Scooby Doo” has been entertaining crowds of different generations with its mystery-solving episodes and movies. And for the first time ever, Joe Ruby and Ken Spears’ magnum opus is being reinterpreted through footwear form in collaboration with Converse. By utilizing the popular Chuck 70 Hi — which coincidentally makes perfect sense here considering this silhouette was birthed right around the same time as the show — the One Star company has created two colorways that interpret different elements of the show. The first dons a brighter blue and green upper adorned with orange floral graphics to best translate the aesthetic of the famous “The Mystery Machine” van. In terms of other details, the left foot’s heel stamp swaps out the traditional Converse branding and instead prints out “SCBYSNK” in short for “Scooby Snack”, while the the interior liners feature black and white drawings of the show’s main collection of characters.

For those who have a more neutral-toned taste in kicks, the other option arrives with a simple black dye for its canvas build, and pastes black and white sketches of the Fred, Velma, Scooby, Shaggy, and Daphne just above the midfoot. In addition, the insides are ornamented with spooky eyed wallpapers executed in all-over fashion. Scroll here ahead to see more detailed images of each pair, and note that while they are sold out on Converse.com, select European retailers are dropping them on June 16th.

Elsewhere under the Nike INC. umbrella, the orange camo Air Max 90s are dropping on June 16th.
