Ostensibly borrowing inspiration from the Consortium’s Gardening Pack from last year, the adidas Torsion TRDC takes on an alluringly colorful dress that effectively circumvents its trend of olive drab and militaristic neutrals. In its place is now this “Tech Indigo” colorway, a namesake that does disservice to its adjacent accents of fluorescent pinks or the striking Collegiate Green that outfits atop the underlaid paneling. Vibrant and undeniably wealthy in mountaineering ethos, the pair’s aggressive paneling seems to come to life for one of the few times since the start of the new year, standing apart from the tones adjacent in a mix that is at times even asymmetric. The Three Stripes webbed to the profile bear bright florals just along the lateral — its surroundings a mix of cream and navy base — with the medial lying distinct by way of a more minimal face. Heel wraps then mold to different degrees, with ornate lines outfitting closer to the ankle in match of the same detailing found across the toe cap.
