The Nike Zoom Mercurial Flyknit Debuts Next Month at Palais of Speed Event in France

The soccer-inspired Free Mercurial Flyknit drops the flexible sole and gets a Zoom Air upgrade this summer, with the all-new Zoom Mercurial Flyknit. If that tooling looks familiar, that’s because it’s from the original Zoom Spiridon, the cult-classic Nike runner from 1997 that is rumored to be making a comeback later this year. Making a case for itself as one of Nike’s best mash-up models ever (and there’s been a lot), the Zoom Mercurial Flyknit will debut in this sleek black colorway, featuring an all-black and Anthracite Flyknit upper with premium leather detailing at the heel and a contrasting white midsole. The shoe will debut on June 18th at the Palais of Speed event at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris as part of the celebration of the 2016 Euro football tournament in France. Releasing in limited quantities in general form, the shoe will also be available in a special edition of nine engraved versions with bespoke boxes designed by the French artist Ugo Gattoni. Although the shoe will debut in this limited edition supply in France, you can expect a wider release version of the Zoom Mercurial Flyknit to follow.
